Shoemerang Shoe Trees

Indulge me for a few moments while I talk about a new product that may or may not change your life.
Now, I realize that’s a pretty bold statement, and while this new product may not ‘actually’ change your life, it certainly has the power to challenge the way you think about traditional shoe trees.
I was recently shipped a pair of Shoemerang Shoe Trees and asked to review them and give my opinion.  While I’m glad to review products and create new, unique content for my readers, I also hold true to providing my honest opinion about products/services I review.  I’m glad to say, this is a pretty cool product.  Please read on.

Shoemerang Shoe Trees are a new type of shoe tree made from sturdy, durable lightweight polyethylene foam manufactured in the USA with limited waste.  They weigh only 2-ounces per pair and are designed for travel ease.  They pack flat, fit easily in just about any travel bag and as I can attest first hand, they protect your shoes just like any traditional wooden shoe tree.
Shoemerang Shoe Trees are custom fit to your shoe size and protect almost any shoe from heel to toe, just like traditional wooden shoe trees.  Just trim them to size with scissors, bend them to slip snugly into your shoes and that’s it.

I was traveling recently and took these with me instead of the wooden shoe trees I normally pack.  I had an event scheduled where I needed to dress well.  The last thing I want is my expensive shoes crushed from suitcase travel, so I was very pleased with how the Shoemerang trees performed.  They held up and performed just like any traditional shoe tree, and they weigh a lot less.  They’re just as easy to insert and remove too.
If there was one thing I’d like to see with future product improvements, its size indication marks to help users cut to the appropriate size.  Don’t get me wrong, this is a ultra-small detail, but there is some guesswork when cutting.  I cut the first one perfectly the first time, but got in a hurry and cut the second one slightly short.  It’s really no big deal, but if there were guide lines to help aid with cutting, that would be terrific.

At the end of the day, shoe trees should protect your shoes and be easy to use.  They don’t have to be expensive or flashy, they just have to work as intended.  Shoemerang Shoe Trees are only $19.99 a pair, they work and I’m happy to recommend them to anyone.  More info at; http://www.shoemerang.com/
